From the recording Saint Anne's Reel
This is one of my favorite old fiddle tunes. Mike Cleveland, Brian Allen and I were sitting around with friends at WWAG radio station after a broadcast. We were just jamming and started on this tune. Something about the sound of the fiddle, flat top guitar and clawhammer banjo made me decide right then and there to make this album. The added lyrics were brought to me by Trevor Payntor from P.E.I. Canada. That's him singing.
